You ought to be able to see the results from your hard work.

I want to help you with that because no one’s potential should be the victim of isolation. Get support for your career today.

Here's The Cliff Notes

Greetings! If you’re insane enough to stick it out in this industry, then I want to help you prosper in it. Why? Because I’m insane enough to stick it out in this industry! Birds of a feather got to stick together, don’t we?

I’ve experienced the struggle of building a music career without support and it’s… stupid. Yes, STUPID! Like, why should you have to suffer in silence while you carve and claw out a place for your self in the industry? I’ve come to believe that’s totally unnecessary and that’s why I started Philomath Studios.

Now here’s what I can do for you: I’ll help you create your music acoustically if you are a singer or rapper. My sound is a fusion of various strains of jazz, soul, and hip-hop. I’ve sprinkled in plenty of elements from other styles like rock, Latin, and classical (yes, there are lessons to learn from classical music in this day and age). I’ll also pour into your development so you can enjoy a more fulfilling career after working with me instead of just leaving with a slammin’ track.

Principles You & I Will Abide By...

Do the right thing, even if it costs an arm and a leg. I will to tell you the truth, take ownership of my actions, and be selfless as much as possible.

Use superior effort or no effort at all. I go all-in on the projects I care about, and if I can’t give you my best effort, then I won’t work with you.

Aim for 1% improvement every day. Every moment we work together, I will strive to pull out your best and my best. And guess what? After all of that, I’ll still ask for better.

Take life by the horns and ride it into the ground. I don’t let the challenges your music brings intimidate me. I’ll take them head-on because I want the best out of anything we work on.

Do not tolerate liabilities under any circumstance. I won’t allow anything to get in the way of your music — not me, not my team, not even you.

I value integrity, hard work, and growth. I work with artists who do the same. If any of this turns you off in any way, shape, or form, then I understand. However, if what I’m saying resonates with you, then book a free clarity call with me today to get started!

Get To Know Me A Bit...

If you want to know more about me, know that I got into music pretty young — not like toddler young — more like 5th grade beginning band. You know when everybody sounded like fresh roadkill right? Good times. Anyways like you, once I got a taste of what music could do then I became addicted to it!

I immediately started trying to write music — I say try because most 5th graders suck at writing in general. Well, 15 years later and I can say for a fact that I don’t suck anymore. But let’s cut to the chase! You’re not here to learn about all the random crap that I could stuff into this page. Here’s some stuff that you probably want to know:

  • I’ve helped a diverse array of artists and have enjoyed solving their unique challenges.
  • My background in the industry is that of a jazz musician — I play saxophone and have been at it for almost as long as I’ve been writing music.
  • Eventually, I took up engineering and will be seeing the sixth year of that journey soon.
  • I received the blessing of mentorship under world-class producers, musicians, writers, and engineers.

Through this journey, I’ve been cut my teeth everywhere from the stage and to the studio and I’ve learned that music is a catalyst for growth and emotional prosperity. I want to work with artists who feel the same and help them grow as well.

Now let’s be real here, the journey of an artist isn’t always a walk in the park. Actually, it can be grueling, frustrating, and downright stressful at times. That’s why I’m committed to creating a space where you can feel comfortable making mistakes, challenging yourself, and being a little bit daring. After all, what’s life without a little risk-taking?

So if you’re ready to take your music to the next level, then book call! I’ll be your partner in crime, your confidant, and your biggest cheerleader. Get started by booking a free, clarity call with me and letting me get to know you, your struggles, and your goals.

P.S. Philomath is pronounced [fil-uh-math]. You’re welcome.
